Do I need a Business Coach?

Section !. Have you ever thought things like "If the boss got out of the way I might get more done" or "This company operates in spite of management not because of it" or "What did he mean by that". Well the problem might not be only with management., In communication we each have a perceptual filter what we see and hear enters our mind through our senses and the filter of our experiences and previous knowledge. As a child we all have played the game of whispering a story to the one on the right in a circle, and comparing it to what we eventually receive from the person to our left. A business coach is one who encourages others to go to the middle of the circle a give the story to all at the same time.


Communication needs to be up as well as down, not just the formal reports but questions as to What Why How Who Where and When, ( just like a good reporter of the facts) This is not rebellion but effort to clearly understand and be brought to agree with the policy or directive given. The Business Coach brings a different set of eyes and tools to improve the communications and relationships between the peoples and departments that make up the company.
